Bearing Christ’s love to the Illawarra community north of Sea Cliff Bridge

Holy Cross Parish is a diverse community of people living in a growing, semi-rural area between Wollongong and Sydney, to where many of us commute each day. Although we are all different, with a range of theological opinions, and political and social views, we share our catholic faith and friendship in a typical country way – an inclusive way without judgement.

We accept that our church, an organization that spans the world and history, is not perfect but we believe in the overall tradition and heritage of the Catholic Church. Within these constraints, we have accepted the challenge and taken it upon ourselves to rebuild the faith in our local community.

We invite you to join us and travel with us as we build our local faith community. We don’t have a great pipe organ or large choir but we all sing, and together we lift up our voices to the Lord. Our care and friendship for others is important - our young and old, and everyone in between.

Please feel welcome to join (or at least visit) us. Introduce yourself and contact Father or the leadership team if you have particular concerns or worries.
